Ingo Floor Lamp #1 by James Dieter
Originally inspired by the angular, articulating form of a geometric snake toy, the ingo floor lamp is the next-generation of the ingo wall sconce (introduced in 2016 but since discontinued) and elaborates on the previous iteration’s bird-like form. The design echoes the playful innovation and technical expertise of its namesake, Ingo Maurer. The ingo floor lamp is composed of interchangeable folded aluminum bands that are held together through locking connections. The pieces are designed to be reconfigured and adjusted, allowing for endless variation. Light is reflected off the bi-colored bands, creating a diffuse ambient color that can be dimmed or brightened. The floor lamp features dim-to-warm LED technology, which can be activated through a flush-mounted button on the stem.
Shown in enameled and polished aluminum, and raw brass.
16 W / 16 D / 70.5 H
